This Week at SFU

Middle Eastern Hot Lunch 12 – 2 PM We will be having majadra (a delicious North African rice and lentil dish FULL of spices) along with salads, drinks and dessert! We can always use volunteers to help prepare the food before noon!

Israel Update with Vancouver Hillel’s shaliach (Israel emissary) Ohad Gavrieli, 1 PM

MASA Rep On Campus We will have Dani Fine on campus who is a representative of MASA and has information about exciting long term Israel programs. All day.

THURSDAY

Jews and Brews at Club Ilia, 5 pm. come and hang out and let Hillel buy you a beer as you start to get into the weekend mode.

Shabbat Dinner Joint SFU Hillel/ UBC Hillel Shabbat celebration, at UBC! 6:30 PM $6 for the most delicious dinner in town!

This Week at SFU

SHALOM! SFU Hillel is back in action today (Thursday)!
Stop by anytime on these two days for a free snack and make some cool decorations to add some color to our exciting new year.

We have some great new board games (battleship, NHL monopoly, etc) and a TON of food and fresh coffee!

This Week:

THURSDAY

Come and Shmooze with your fellow Hillelniks and THE one and only Pat Johnson. Play board games, listen to new Israeli music also make some cool decorations to hang around Hillel. All day.

FRIDAY

Jews and Juice will take place from Noonish – 1 pm ish in the Hillel lounge. We will buy some healthy and delicious smoothies from Booster Juice and discuss some of the cool Jewish news stories from around the work… such as….. WILL ISRAEL BE THE THIRD COUNTRY TO LAND ON THE MOON?
